We Have a Passion for History

Welcome to the home of The Forces of Montcalm and Wolfe.  We are a living history/re-enacting umbrella organization based in the mid-west.  We have a passion for history, the outdoors, camping, cooking, and all things related to our hobby.  Please have a look around our site and if you have any questions contact us.

Military Impressions

We portray soldiers, native peoples, and their civilian contemporaries during the time 1754-1763.  In the US this era is referred to as the French and Indian War.  In Europe it is known as the Seven Years War.

Camp Life

We love the outdoors and camping.  If you have a passion for being outside, camping, cooking over an open fire then our organization has a home for you.  Members need not be involved in military impressions to enjoy the other amazing aspects of living history.

Civilian and Native Peoples Impressions

​Our organization has many members who portray civilians during 1754-1763.  These individuals often served the armies of the time as "camp followers" or "followers of the army", but just like today the nations of the past consisted of civilians who did many trades jobs, farmers, fisherman, and many many others.  In addition we also have many members who portray the native peoples of North America.  The Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, Mohawk, Tuscarora, Miami, Shawnee, and many others.
